Hi, I'm Michael Duff. I'm a Livejournal refugee, moving to Blogger so I can lose what few fans I have right now. I used to have a newspaper column. I used to have a radio show. Now I have a job. I used to post to Usenet, writing long, angry screeds about the way the world should be. Now I have a blog, where I crack jokes about how the world is. I used to write about people I know. Now I just write about politics and pop culture. I used to think blogs could change the world. Now I'm just killing time, waiting for my novel to sell.
